You run simPRO because the work spans multiple trades, multiple branches and a hundred-plus technicians. TrainAR sits next to it: jobs flow into the on-glasses agent with the trade-skill bundle that fits the work, AR session summaries flow back into the originating simPRO job.
The simPRO integration is feature-complete in code and tested against our sandbox at trainar.simprosuite.com. Public roll-out is gated on Nango catalogue listing - early-access slots open via the Beta.
The scale problem we keep hearing about
When a maintenance contractor grows past around 80 technicians, training stops being something the operations director can keep in their head. simPRO holds the schedule, the jobs and the employee records - but the on-the-job knowledge an engineer needs the moment they open up an unfamiliar appliance lives somewhere else: in a manual, in a senior engineer's head, in a Slack thread that nobody can find at 2pm on a Tuesday.
TrainAR sits next to simPRO and closes that gap. Each simPRO job carries the right trade-skill bundle through to the engineer's glasses; the on-glasses agent answers voice questions about the brand and model in front of them; AR session summaries post back to the originating simPRO job so the office and the auditor can see what actually happened.

Connection
- Auth: OAuth2 via Nango. Tokens in Nango vault, never in TrainAR DB.
- Tenant config: your simPRO build subdomain (e.g.
acme.simprosuite.com). - Polling: 15-minute default. Configurable per tenant. Webhook trigger optional.
- Region: matches your simPRO region (UK/EU/US/AU).

Each simPRO employee maps to a TrainAR user with a trade skill (mechanical, electrical, fabric, fire, security and more). Bundles deliver the right AR procedures and knowledge to each seat - so the engineer who arrives at the job has the right brand-specific manuals and procedures already on the glasses.
AR coaching during the job
The on-glasses Core Training Agent answers voice questions about the brand and model in front of the engineer, surfaces the right page of the manufacturer manual, walks the relevant procedure step-by-step.
Session evidence in simPRO
AR session summaries, plus photos and videos captured on the glasses, post back into the originating simPRO job record. The office and any auditor can see exactly what happened on the job without changing tools.
Branch-level reporting
TrainAR Reports breaks AR session activity, time-on-task and completion rates by simPRO cost centre. Show the board which branches are using AR training and which need attention.
